Anda Then I Embraced Her

I used to have this good friend of mine.
We used to sit and talked for hours.
We used to laugh at almost everything
when we meet.
We used to go out for movies,
good or bad, we cherished the moment,
Her and I together.
And then one day,
She came and speak to me.
She said she is in love with me.
She said she knows I love her too.
She said why can’t we be together?
She said why can’t we be more than friends?
She said why….
And then I embraced her…
There was no spark.
There was no flowers blooming
in the background.
There was nothing I expected,
there was nothing…
I said “No”.
She wanted a reply..
She wanted to know..
I looked at her,
I told her, that’s why.
We went our separate ways after that.
We didn’t have those wonderful moments
together anymore.
No more laughs, no more chats,
No more anything.No more… after I embraced her.
